History:

The great race of Panthera thrives in the western jungles of Aelisus, blessed by the spirits of the jungle. Out of necessity across many generations, they developed a layer of fur on their faces, arms and legs, and feline reflexes to rank among the top predators in the wild. They eventually formed a city on the outskirts of the wild atop a set of ancient ruins named Apex City. Through the necessity to survive, panthera are good or neutral.  Panthera that have turned their hearts towards evil are shunned and lose any sense of civility and sentience they once had.

Usual Height:

Generally human sized or slightly shorter, Panthera tend to stand between five and six feet tall.

Hometown:

Apex City

Religion:

Panthera have no dominant religion, though they tend to lean towards a nature-focused religion and often find themselves following Equilibrium.

Physical Features:

Panthera are incredibly agile and inherently benefit from a racial metabolic boost, gaining more attacks than an average humanoid, can perform a fury strike to disrupt their opponents' minds and spellcasting ability, and are born with a natural mastery of most melee defenses. Due to their native origins being wet marshlands and jungles, they have less experience battling fire and thus have an inherent vulnerability to it.

Society:

Panthera society is governed by the skill of the individual. Every panthera sees itself as a predator somewhere in the food chain. Against wild animals, the overwhelming majority of Panthera are confident to do combat and kill. They are often guarded against other sentient races but still profile them somewhere in the apex food chain out of racial habit.

Relationships with Other Races:

Panthera tend to respect most other races but visualize them as members of a food chain due to their historical significance as top predators. Regardless of this, Panthera are often good natured towards most good and neutral races, and take caution to trust races known to be evil.
